The king had garenteed Halim's mother a lavish lifestyle to keep their affair a secret. Halim does know his bloodline and has been offered by the king to have a high position in the kingdom. Halim was then sent to Milizia for propper training in decipline and leadership, as well as warfare.

Halim doesn't think kindly of his father, but is very caring of his mother. Halim looks more like his mother than his father.
